master #1 -v.3
Stepping away from the focus on the gold leaf stencil pillow, imagining more what kind of "thing" I would like to look at, thinking of the mark making of the furniture and how the piece will play with it, acknowledging the dripping lines of the previous piece, giving prevalence to expressiveness, and using a color scheme to enhance the room I've created the following piece. Again, oil on wood with a copper metallic under painting. It measures 18 by 32 inches, three variations.

imposing with simplicity
A golden dragonfly whith contemporary minimalistic composition with a retro glare, due to the molding, on white wash tones of mints, turquoises and bluegreens. A focal point to balance other strong elements of the decor. Mixed media on wood, 18 by 18 inches.
Turquoise progression is an expresive impresionistic composition scheme with an elongated shape. It could be done in other dimensions not to exceed 80 inches in perimeter.
explorations for a red suite
The last couple of days I've been working on this compositions that could fit, they are small in size, 20 by 20 inches, in re-used canvas. A larger version would have more details and gestures. The underpaint is metalic, three tones of golds, with oil paint.
Variations of the theme:
"harvested field #1"
"harvested field #2"
"harvested field #3"
"plain field in ocre gold"
"plain field in red"
